About Badya:
Badya October, developed by Palm Hills, is a revolutionary concept in urban living. Designed to house around 153,000 residents, Badya offers a unique and sustainable lifestyle. Spread across a vast area of 3,000 acres, it is strategically located between East and West Cairo. The city is divided into two phases: the ZOE extension and DAE Badya.
Badya Palm Hills is built on the philosophy of the "3 C’s": Conscious (Green City), Cognitive (Safe and Smart), and Connected (Convenient).
As a conscious green city, Badya prioritizes sustainability. It focuses on reducing electrical consumption and water usage by 30%, operational costs by 20%, waste production by 30%, and the energy demand of buildings by 30%. The city also generates 30% of its energy from renewable sources through the use of Photovoltaics—solar panels that capture and redistribute solar energy, further reducing on-site energy consumption by 30%.
